FlyOver Las Vegas offers an immersive travel journey that features a 52.5-foot-wide spherical screen, flight motion seats, and sensory effects that transport you over various landscapes. Competing for attention in one of the flashiest cities in the country, planners knew they required a design to captivate visitors immediately upon entering the door.
In collaborating with Stonhard and its luxury seamless flooring brand, Liquid Elements, the owner and creative director were able to bring their theme to life through an extraordinary and artistic custom floor. Their mission was to have the immersive experience go beyond the attraction itself and begin from the moment visitors entered the building.

Flowing Design with Functionality: Custom Colorado River Floor with Liquid Elements
Stonhard began by resolving substrate issues before mechanically prepping the floor. To level the uneven surface, Stonhard's Stonclad GS troweled epoxy mortar and Stonproof ME7 urethane membrane were applied. This was followed by the installation of Reflect, a stunning, handcrafted metallic epoxy system known for its durability, resilience and ease of maintenance. Installed in a custom color and design, Reflect captured the flowing beauty of the Colorado River, creating a truly distinctive look.
Behind the bar, Stonclad UT urethane flooring was installed to provide slip resistance and protection against impacts, stains, splashes, and spills.
